KDB Bank is a subsidiary of KDB Bank in South Korea (Korea Development Bank), which was established as a state-owned bank in 1954 and has become the leading financial institution in South Korea. In 2009 the Bank became a private entity and was transformed into a financial holding company under the name KDB Financial Group. South Korea's KDB Bank has become the sole owner of 100% stake since 2002. The Bank operates under the name KDB Bank (Hungary) Ltd. In 2013 the Bank underwent a name change to KDB Bank Europe Ltd. and has opened its new branch in Slovakia (Bratislava). The Bank provides a full range of commercial banking services to corporate and private clients.
