How to release a debit card in Hungary?

A debit card in Hungarian banks may be issued to customers within a batch of contracts for services and are not paid separately. However, if you wish, you can order an additional card, paying for the annual service. No problem for foreigners to receive a card, no documents, except the passport, is required. In some cases, it may be necessary local mailing address to send the finished card.

In Hungary maps to the most widely used junior categories up to Unembossed, as well as an "Internet card" intended only for online shopping. The Bank may not offer the higher level cards Classic/Standart. In some banks to open the card of Classic level required to make a minimum initial Deposit of up to 400 euros or 100 thousand HUF.

The cost of servicing an additional card Classic - about 5 thousand forints (15-16 Euro) per year. A cash withdrawal may be accompanied by the Commission even in your own Bank's network. Commissions ranging from 0.5% to 1.5% plus of the order of 100-500 ft (0.3 to 1.5 Euro) regardless of the withdrawal amount. Withdrawals at foreign ATMs Hungarian map will be much more expensive - 8 euros per transaction plus 0.5 to 1% of the withdrawal amount.
